Loomis acquires EM Armoured Car Service

Securitas’ cash handling division has bought out US cash handling services provider EM Armoured Car Service.
An official press statement released by the company suggests the purchase price is approximately US$1.85 million.
EM Armoured Car Service is a cash handling service provider that operates in southern Georgia. The company has 50 employees and boasts annual sales of approximately US$2.6 million.
Creation of meaningful synergies
According to Loomis, the acquisition will enable “meaningful synergies” in the south of Georgia market where the organisation has sizeable operations, at the same time allowing the introduction of integrated technology-enabled solutions in the region.
The acquisition will be consolidated in Loomis AB as of September 1.
