SGW and Griffin target holistic solutions
25 Nov 08
In a move designed to provide clients with an expanded portfolio of expertise, SGW Security Consulting is joining forces with the Griffin Security Group to provide holistic security solutions.
Since its formation in 2003, SGW has earned a reputation for providing unbiased support to its clients across a broad spectrum of security systems solutions (encompassing access control, alarm, fire, ANPR and CCTV together with risk assessment and project management services).
The company’s new agreement with the Griffin Security Group – which was signed at the recent Total Workplace Management Exhibition in London run by United Business Media’s Live Media Division – will result in an “holistic security service” for end users. In fact, the move consolidates recent activities which have seen the companies working together to deliver varied projects.
Griffin Security Group has been operating as a security consultancy company since 1994, progressing through a series of expansions that has seen the amalgamation of a number of separate professional services under the Group banner and supplying innovative security solutions to meet the diverse needs of a broad portfolio of clients.
Effective security at lower cost
Commenting on the new partnership, Simon Whitehouse – managing director of SGW Consulting – told info4security: “Our clients can now benefit from an extended range of application experience and industry expertise that will provide effective security strategies, lower costs and increased performance of long-term security systems. Our truly independent service, without ties to any given manufacturers or installers, is geared towards providing a total security solution. That solution will comprise the very best available technology from an ever-changing marketplace.”
In practice, Whitehouse is adamant the partnership will realise the very best in technical system design and specification for end users, together with physical, personnel and information protection.
Colin Braziel – chairman of the Griffin Security Group and, of course, a key driver in the Association of Security Consultants – holds a hugely positive view of the SGW alliance. “It’s a major step forward in offering clients holistic end-to-end business protection solutions,” explained Braziel.
The news follows hot-on-the-heels of SGW’s rebranding last month from the former SGW Associates (as reported on info4security) (see the link to this News item on the panel to the right of this page).
