Pay-as-you-go IP surveillance system launched
30 Jul 09
EyeSpy 24/7 has launched what it describes as a “ cost-effective IP camera monitoring security solution, an easy and secure way for homes and small businesses to keep track of property – from anywhere”.
The company says the solution is a “fully automated security system which records images and video off site which are then available to review online from your mobile, laptop or any internet enabled device”.
The system is being marketed at home users and small businesses, with EyeSpy 24/7 saying that “no prior tech-specific knowledge is required for installation”.
“The user-friendly solution can be used for domestic reasons, for example, to check in on elderly relatives,” the company says. “Optional shared access to alerts is available if going on a holiday or business trip.
“EyeSpy 24/7 is also ideal for businesses who may have previously thought IP camera monitoring was too expensive and just not worth the money. With EyeSpy 24/7, you can affordably fit the security of your home or business around your life and what is convenient for you.”
The system is provided on a pay-as-you-go payment model for access to its secure servers – with no ongoing maintenance contract. EyeSpy 24/7 says this is “ideal for smaller businesses and home owners who would prefer not to commit to any long-term agreements”.
Paresh Morjaria, director of EyeSpy 24/7, said: “EyeSpy 24/7 is an affordable and technologically proven way to monitor your home and business, with excellent and simple mobility.”

Old news - We have been doing this in the UK for over a year now. Our FreedomCAM offers a monthly fixed cost with no minimum term. Solar/Wind powered versions available and all are capable of tecording video and audio.
I don't think you can really compare FreedomCAM with eyespy247 - as the latter is aimed a wholly different market it seems and costs substantially less.
