Magenta is the 'New Green' at Newsquest Awards

Hot on the heels of its success at the 2009 Security Excellence Awards, Magenta Security Services has been highly commended in the Green Business Category at the Green Guardian Awards run by Newsquest.

The Green Guardian Awards are a prestigious regional accolade for the guarding company, which received the Environmental Initiative of the Year Award at the Security Excellence Awards last October.

Magenta Security Services' managing director Abbey Petkar told SMT Online: "This latest award demonstrates that our environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility policies go beyond the levels expected in the security industry, and place us firmly in the vanguard of ethical companies across all sectors."

Petkar added: "As a company, we continually strive to improve our environmental impact. This latest accolade is testimony to the hard work and effort put in across the whole company. However, the work we've done to date is just a starting point. We're already implementing new initiatives to improve our global impact over the course of the next 12 months."
