SIA Close Protection Network: second meeting arranged
31 Jan 10
The second meeting of the Close Protection Network facilitated by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) will be held on Monday 22 March at a central London location.
The Close Protection Network was created in 2009 as part of the Regulator’s Stakeholder Engagement Strategy to provide an opportunity for representatives from the close protection sector to meet, discuss and explore issues concerning the industry and the SIA’s activities in general.
Information on the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy can be found on the ‘About Us’ page of the SIA’s website.
This latest event is an opportunity for those working in the sector to engage with the SIA and others in their sector. Delegates will be able to discuss and address relevant issues affecting close protection operatives.
How to register your interest
Interested parties who would like to attend the meeting, which is free of charge, should visit the SIA’s website (a link is provided on the right hand panel of this page) and register their interest by 12 February latest.
Registering your interest to attend does not guarantee a place at the meeting. Places will be confirmed by the SIA prior to 26 February.
The first close protection network meeting was held on 22 January 2009 in London, and was arranged and facilitated by the SIA.
Notes from the previous meeting can be found on the SIA’s website (again, see the right hand panel of this page for a dedicated link)
