Neil Norman, chief executive officer of HRS, said: “Geoffrey’s track record in building market leading businesses speaks for itself. His strategic expertise will be a huge asset to HRS as we build closer relationships with our end customers and service growing demand for fully integrated, technology-driven biometric and identity management solutions across our chosen markets. He is a powerful addition to our senior management team.”

Maddrell said: “I believe HRS has a unique opportunity to become the dominant player in its chosen markets, with the intellectual property, consultancy skills, customer relationships and people to deliver significant forward growth. I’ve been impressed by the dynamism and energy of Neil and his senior team. Now is the time to capitalise on its strengths and take a leadership position in an expanding market.”
