Alarm protection for rural oil tanks

Soaring fuel prices means more oil and diesel thefts in rural areas - and police have warned farmers to protect their supplies. With country coppers being rarer than hens teeth, Castle Care-tech offers a solution to protect farmyard fuel.

They provide the simple solution to the growing problem of fuel theft with a small wireless transmitter, EE1210W, which can be placed inside the screw cap of the oil tank. The magnetic reed switch on this device ensures that if the cap is opened or tampered with, homeowners will be alerted by, at the very least, an audible alert from their security system. On more advanced alarm systems outside security lights can be activated and SMS text messages can be sent or the Alarm Receiving Centre alerted to the unauthorised entry to the storage tank. The alarm is fitted with a case tamper and mounting bracket.
