Songs about security: From The Ritz To The Rubble

24 Apr 09

Cheeky scamps the Arctic Monkeys take the SAS spotlight this week...

This tune is a tale of a run-in with a bouncer - or door supervisor - and thus fits in perfectly with our remit here at Songs About Security HQ.

Sure, it's not the most flattering of portrayals of security officers, but I wouldn't be surprised if the so-called 'totalitarian' bouncer was working sans SIA licence.

On a side note, for such a decent band, it's a shame the Arctic Monkeys chose such an awful name. Ah well. Enjoy the video - it's live at Glastonbury, don't you know.
