Songs about security: I Hear You Knocking

28 Aug 09

It's the Fats Domino version of this ever-popular access-control themed tune...

Perhaps the best known version of this song came from Dave Edmunds in 1971, but it had previously been recorded by a bunchof other artists, including Smiley Lewis, Gale Storm, and our Song About Security artiste today, Fats Domino.

It is one of many 12-bar blues tracks to be themed around access control, and the denial or otherwise of entry to a property, other such thing.

Enjoy.
