Songs about security: Girls On Film
30 Oct 09
This week's security tune is a little bit saucy.
That's right, it's reincarnated 80s popsters Duran Duran, with their controversial song about young women who are repeatedly caught on CCTV doing crimes and that.
In those days, CCTV was recorded directly onto 16mm film, and then displayed using a projector in local cinemas. Duran Duran were renowned at the time for their biting social commentary and the gritty realism of their lyrics. This is just another example of that.
Enjoy.
