Explosive detection firm finds Turkish distributor
03 Sep 07
Acro, the developer of explosive detection products, has appointed Bensan Mümessillik Import, Export, Industry and Trade Company as its distributor in Turkey.
Acro's chief marketing officer Shai Markevitch said the appointment of a distributor in Turkey was an important milestone in the company’s global expansion efforts.
"The agreement with Bensan Mümessillik emphasises our commitment to respond to the growing market demand for our product."
Bensan Mümessillik will now distribute Acro's patented peroxide explosive tester, ACRO-P.E.T.
The pen-like tester is able to identify peroxide-based explosives, such as Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP), which are difficult to identify as they do not contain nitro groups or colours and may appear in a variety of shapes and forms, including liquid.
“We believe that ACRO-P.E.T. has a substantial market potential in Turkey.” |
