Firex targets installers expanding into fire
16 Jan 08
The Firex South exhibition this year will host a dedicated afternoon master class for installers looking to expand into the fire market.
The interactive session on March 12th, 2008 will focus on three key areas:
• Opportunities for diversification and profitable growth for the installers’ market
• Designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems: BS 5839 Part 1 Code of practice for fire detection and alarms systems for buildings
• BS 5839 Part 8 Code of practice for voice alarm systems.
Firex South is produced by info4security’s parent company CMPi – who are also the team behind IFSEC.
Event Manager Gerry Dunphy said that the event would offer opportunities to those security professionals wishing to enter the fire market.
’Installers need to go to Firex South if they’re looking to grow their businesses in the highly profitable fire sector,” Dunphy said.
“The demand for qualified fire systems installers has never been higher and Firex South will provide a definitive line up of experts on hand to provide advice and guidance on training and products.”
Leading fire sector training organisations such as B.A.F.E. NSI, LPCB, SSAIB and the FPA will be exhibiting at the show providing visitors with guidance on how to enter this market.
