Avigilon appoints new sales manager

Michael Hodor will work on Avigilon’s end-to-end HD surveillance solution.

Dave Tynan, vice president of global sales and marketing for US-based Avigilon, said: “With vast industry experience and an in-depth knowledge of the market, Michael has a track record for helping to grow start-up organizations into global surveillance leaders.

“Michael’s unique abilities for developing key business relationships and fostering top performing sales teams will surely be an asset to Avigilon.”

Previously, Hodor was vice president of sales for North America at Arecont Vision, where he managed the company’s top growth region. Before Arecont Vision, Hodor also held senior positions with Sentex Systems, Controlled Products Systems Group, and The Kohler Company.

Speaking about his new role, Hodor said: “I am excited to leverage my relationship development, consultative selling, and professional sales management skills to further advance Avigilon’s leadership position in the growing HD surveillance market.”
