Norbain to return to IFSEC in 2010
06 May 09
Norbain has announced today that it will resume its presence at IFSEC by exhibiting in 2010 as part of a long-term deal agreed with the event’s organisers, UBM Live.
Alun John, MD of Norbain, explained their decision to return to the event: “We have a long-standing history with IFSEC and have always valued it as an important part of our annual marketing mix.
“The decision to pause our participation in 2009 was not taken lightly and we look forward to resuming our presence in 2010.”
Simon Parker, group director of UBM Live, said: “Norbain has been a key exhibitor at IFSEC for over twenty years so I am naturally delighted that they are returning in 2010.
“IFSEC has always reflected the entire spectrum of security manufacturers and distributors and given Norbain’s key role in the industry it is fantastic that they have pledged long term support to the event.
“This year’s show has over 600 confirmed exhibitors, an unprecedented level of conference and seminar content, as well as hundreds of new products. The industry has really come out fighting and despite the economic difficulties the event promises to be a great success”
IFSEC is the world’s largest annual security event and takes place from 11-14 May 2009 at the NEC Birmingham. Visit the IFSEC site for further information on the event.
